The ugly truth of the blame we share

English football fans are being robbed and endangered by the increasingly obvious UEFA incompetence with respects to organising sports events. The tens of thousands of English club football fans travelling to European competitions are heading to another Heysel or Hillsborough.

However, we have to admit that there is a minority of ‘fans’ who also spoil it for the many. When Liverpool FC fans start behaving like ‘Ingerland fans’ abroad, and endanger the lives and liberty (remember Michael Shields?) of Liverpool fans -we have to speak out, not write another hooligan/gangster/scally book bragging about it.

You pays your money….

Some Liverpool fans paid well over £2000 to get to the Champions league final with most fans paying at least £500 to £700 on travel and accommodation if they bought a ticket through normal channels. That is serious money indeed for football fans. Even if you’re well paid, you still take precious holiday days off work to get there.

Under normal circumstances, you’d be expected to be treated like a king or a queen and your children like princes and princesses for spending that sort of top money. Only a football fan could actually spend that amount and get treated like a third rate citizen. Only masochists and football fans might feasibly pay a few hundred quid to beaten by men in uniforms.

The Champions league final has become more expensive than golf, tennis or the Olympics finals. You can see opera and classic music for a lot cheaper. But unlike all these other leisure activities, football still stands out as the spectator sport which can rip off the customers the most and offer a third rate shoddy service to the paying fans.

But yours is not

The orders that Prince Harry is not going to have actually earn his commission as a soldier, is hardly surprising. After all, Iraq is a real war and it’s getting worse. No safety can be guaranteed for Harry, not even with a ring of SAS and sophisticated tracking.

That tells you something about the security situation over there in the supposed ‘safe South’ of Iraq.

Harry and William are not their mother’s sons. Their mother campaigned against landmines and spoke out against the evils of war. Harry and William seem to have ignored every word their mother ever said and go wading straight into the illegal wars of occupations, knowing that their presence will be seen as a royal seal of approval for the oil theft and mass murder of an innocent people who presented no threat to us here in the UK.

Tesco and Everton FC…

Residents in Kirkby received “a list of answers to frequently asked questions” which is an ‘reassurance’ from the local Knowsley council. The letter was sent out due to the possibility of Tesco opening a giant 24 hr Hyper/Supermarket, along with the supposed Everton FC move and maybe other developments. Residents are getting annoyed with a council who tend to steamroll through plans regardless of what the local community think. ‘Consultation’ here generally means the council and big business work out how to actually bypass the people of Kirkby to get what they want.

4 pages of A4 paper, stapled together, offer up the usual sly Knowsley council trickery in setting up the leading questions to answer, and making vague promises whilst using plenty of upbeat positive words. Knowsley council do not see Tesco as a monopoly (Tescopoly) but they are not running a small shop in Kirkby which will be competing with a shop open 24 hrs a day that can undercut any small trader. No Knowsley councillor is likely to come under compulsory purchase orders.

The continuing case of the Dar family.

New labour immigration have snatched genuine asylum seekers away from Liverpool, and we’ve never seen them since. The anti racist propaganda, all the spinning yarns of the high ups about how opposed to racism they are - was not backed up with action when Mr Arif Dar and his wife, Nuzhat and four of their five daughters, were deported to Pakistan after 6 years in the UK. Mr. Dar’s eldest daughter, Azbaar aged 21, still remains on the run. She is on the run in a city that has fought for the liberty and freedom of people all over the world.

Once we take away that culture of resistance, whereby we fight for the oppressed and see beyond the city walls – we will be a doomed city, a city of Tory or Blairite Scum who hate the poor.

The open door for [White] Europe means that the Home Office are forced to up the ante and remove people who we would have easily have been able to accommodate in the past.
We should always reserve a percentage of places for those fleeing political or religious persecution. The City itself was obviously shaped by the successive waves of immigrants who settled here escaping persecution. There is a recognisable difference between an economic migrant and an asylum seeker.

Spain shows a way forward.

The BBC reports that ….

“The Spanish Parliament has passed a law aimed at controlling property speculators whom the government blames for spiralling house prices. Official documents will list everybody who has owned any piece of land in the five years before its development.

Senior local government officials will also have to declare their assets. A number of local officials have been arrested recently on allegations of fraud, money laundering and corruption linked to housing projects. In one of the biggest cases, nearly 60 people were arrested in the southern resort of Marbella, including a former mayor, several councillors, developers, art dealers and even a well-known singer.”

Ask yourself why similar vast sales of land in all areas of Liverpool, land sales overseen by local officials and councillors, often in power for decades - is not policed or investigated like Spain? Would we see similar arrests here if the police and fraud squad and the tax man actually snooped around? We certainly saw it in the 70s and it’s rife today because there is far more dodgy money to be laundered and plenty of corrupt officials still dotted here and there.

Widespread fraud as usual in the UK

Postal voting has seen the UK turn into a Banana Republic. This was noted especially in Birmingham where the postal vote saw a virtual mass conspiracy to usurp the democratic system in 2005.

The same thing happened in Leeds this year when dodgy labour councillors with 40 seats on a 90 seat council instructed student helpers to flush votes down the toilet. New labour collected postal votes and some of the devious creatures to creep around local care homes and doorstep local pensioners and bag whatever vote they can get hold of. Once again, eyebrows were raised as almost all the postal votes were labour in the Leeds count.

As for electronic voting - You are joking -right?

The e-vote system is open to even more abuse as seen with the US Presidential election and numerous other scandals worldwide. The recent images of laptops in Scotland all wired up by geeks to count votes sends alarm bells ringing in my head. Someone should have stopped it in its tracks.
